Join us on Saturday June 11th at Sombrero Beach to release Bubbles! We will arrive at 10 am and release Bubbles at 10:30 am.
Bubbles, a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtles was rescued by Troop 686 on March 15th where she was found floating and unable to dive off of Scout Key. X-rays revealed an intestinal impaction. Bubbles was treated with broad spectrum antibiotics, lactulose, vitamins, and a healthy diet of fish and squid. She is now in good health and ready to release! The Turtle Hospital ambulance will arrive at the beach with Bubbles at 10:00 am. Bubbles will be released back to her ocean home at 10:30 am. See you there!
