- 7/30/2026 Meet Mini! a female loggerhead sea turtle who was found floating at the surface with an older boat strike wound. She was named Mini in honor of Mini lobster season, but unfortunately, she arrived with a reminder of the dangers our sea turtles face on the water. We started with X-rays and bloodwork, and Mini will be heading to the human hospital for a CT scan to determine whether her injury extends to her spinal column. She has a long road ahead, but she’s in the right place now.
