- 11/8/2025 – Introducing Cookie, a resilient juvenile green sea turtle discovered off the waters of Long Key. When Cookie was rescued, she was found to be positively buoyant (floating at the surface) and had low blood glucose levels, both signs that she needed immediate medical attention. Upon arrival at the Turtle Hospital, our medical team performed thorough intake exams and provided the care she needed to stabilize. Once her initial treatment was complete, Cookie was gently placed in a rehabilitation tank, where she’s now resting and regaining her strength
