A nice crowd of people gathered at Bahia Honda State Park on Sunday, March 18th, joining The Turtle Hospital as they gave Sport, a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle, a proper send off back to his ocean home. Sport lost one of his back legs due to a lobster trap line entanglement. Sport is fully recovered and swam enthusiastically through the surf upon release.
