With a big crowd gathered, (including the Alvarez family!), Alvarez was brought to Anne’s Beach to return to his big, blue home. On June 24th, at 1:30 pm, rehab staff arrived with the eager 122 lb. sub-adult loggerhead that was clearly ready for his release. With help from the Alvarez’s, the sea turtle was carried into the water where he quickly swam out towards the deep ocean!
