Bonnie, a Loggerhead sea turtle, was rescued July 25, 2005 near Marathon, Florida. Bonnie had a large hook lodged in the side of her mouth. The hook was gently removed once she was placed under anesthesia.
RELEASED: Bonnie was able to return to the wild on October 25, 2005. Bonnie was one of six other Loggerheads that were released off of Pigeon Key, Florida following Hurricane Wilma.
