The Turtle Hospital would like to thank Underseas Inc. for donating half of the cost of our new underwater Hookah diving system. The hookah will allow staff to dive for periods of time to perform maintenance on our 100,000 gallon natural saltwater tidal pool. The pool is an impoundment off the bay and provides a more natural habitat for our permanent resident turtles that cannot be released due to their injuries (primarily from boat hits).
