The Turtle Hospital would like to thank a very special young girl, Samantha Sherman. On October 2nd 2010 Samantha held her Bat Mitzvah in Michigan with her party themed “Under The Sea.” Samantha requested that her invitees help our environment by providing a donation to benefit The Turtle Hospital. She hoped to raise a hundred dollars or more to help Florida’s Sea Turtles. In addition, Samantha took it upon herself to host a lemonade stand with all proceeds benefiting The Turtle Hosptial. Inspired by her selflessness her friends and her family donated a total of $999 far surpassing anyones expectations! We are inspired by you Samantha, thank you so much for all your great work!
