Starting afternoon Tuesday 9/5, we will be closed because of Hurricane Irma. After the storm passes, we hope to open. When we will reopen, is uncertain as of now. We will keep everyone updated.
We will not be doing our guided programs during this time. Reservations for programs during this time frame will need to be rescheduled.
During the course of the storm, our turtles are moved from their enclosures to special hurricane tanks or to temporary tanks inside the hospital. This allows them to be safe from the storm and storm surge.
