Gumbo

Gumbo, a juvenile Green sea turtle, was transferred from Gumbo Limbo State Preserve in Palm Beach County on October 25, 2000. He had shell damage from a boat hit, Fibropapilloma tumors on both of his eyes, right front flipper, and inguinal area. The trauma from the boat hit caused this turtle to be a permanent floater. Gumbo has been fitted with a lead weight and swims comfortably around the pool. He is one of our permanent residents.
