August 31st marked exactly one year since the rescue of a tiny Green sea turtle with fibropapilloma tumors. Timmy had several surgeries to remove her tumors and also to extract plastic pieces from her intestines. In January 2014 she will reach one year of being ‘tumor free’ and can be released!
