- 6/6/2025 – Meet Fred! a juvenile green sea turtle at The Turtle Hospital. Fred was admitted after being rescued from entanglement and was found to have fibropapilloma (FP) tumors. His intake marked the beginning of a specialized care plan to address both external injuries and tumor management.
- 10/24/2025 – Fred and two other fellow juvenile green sea turtle patients traveled to Pinecrest Veterinary Hospital, where Dr. Lorraine Karpinski performed her successful eye tumor removal surgeries. All three turtles recovered well, now have healthy eyes, and ere officially tumor free!!! Post operative care includes chemotherapy eye drops administered at The Turtle Hospital.
